By bus (and walking)
Buses run along the main island roads with terminations at Port Askaig, Portnahaven and Ardbeg.
The nearest bus stop to Ardnahoe is at Keills Primary School. From there, it is possible to walk to the distillery. (This is not for the faint-hearted; we advise all visitors to inspect the route details carefully before starting out.)
The walk to the distillery is a bit over two miles, and involves significant changes in elevation along a single-track road. From Keills bus stop, head along the main road toward Jura for 200m or so then turn left to follow the signposted road to Ardnahoe.
The bus timetable is available here. Note that the service does not run on Sundays, and the schedule depends on the local schools.
