During the winter months Ardnahoe Distillery Shop has reduced its opening hours. They are not set but if you come by Islay House Square and you see the lights are on, you are welcome to come in for a browse and a chat. Alternatively, in order to avoid disappointment, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org in order to make an appointment prior to your visit.
Some of our seasonal friendly staff have left us in the meantime but Bryony and Joan are still about (and also friendly!). They are happy to guide you through progress of the distillery build and plans. Live web cams and relaying images of the site and current work in progress are also shown in our shop. If you would like to visit the site, we will do our best to arrange this by appointment, given building site constraints.
It is with great pleasure we announce that Paul Graham has joined our visitor centre team as Operations Manager. Moreover, Joan has stepped up to work alongside him as his assistant. Paul and Joan (formerly of An Taigh Osda, Bruichladdich), bring a wealth of experience on business management and Islay hospitality. Along with Bryony they will form the management team and get the new distillery visitor centre up and running for this summer.
Should you wonder about availability of last year’s highly esteemed Kinship bottlings, only a few bottles from Bowmore, Caol Ila, Laphroaig and Ardbeg remain available. This offer continues to be complemented by single cask ranges – Old & Rare, Old Malt Cask, The First Editions, Hepburn’s Choice) from our parent company Hunter Laing.
Take a wander through all of Scotland’s whisky producing regions (yes, this is possible in Islay!) and be tempted by special bottlings from familiar and from some rather unknown and therefore discoverable distilleries.
Watch this space for details of Ardnahoe Shop special bottlings, or contact us direct, either by phone (01496 301430) or e-mail (email@example.com).
